Our Courses - An Overview
Taking 5, 8 or 10 months out to focus on your relationship with the Lord Jesus and spend time learning and sharing with others is something that our students would recommend to anyone thinking of attending Capernwray New Zealand.
The courses are tertiary level 3 and designed for students aged 18 years and over. However, provision is made for 17 year old applicants at the Monavale Bible School at the discretion of the course director and with a parent or guardian’s written permission.
Every aspect of life at Bible School, from personal devotion time to the scheduled lectures, from discipleship groups to weekly ministries, is designed to nurture spiritual growth so that you become a person whose life continually points others to the Person of Jesus Christ.

The Bible School courses offered at Capernwray New Zealand has been designed to have a practical ministry content, an intentional discipleship aspect, as well as the foundational teaching common to all Capernwray (Torchbearers) Bible Schools.The basic course summary is:
> Approximately 14 class hours per week of Bible teaching
> A weekly ministry programme
> A discipleship group programme
> Times of community prayer, worship, and devotions
> Weekly assignments
> Ministry Week (2 per semester)
> Sunday fellowship nights
> A weekly ‘work afternoon’ in & around the property
> Daily duties and responsibilities
> ‘Quiet days’
> Family fun nights
The program is designed to let students interact more closely with teachers and with fellow students in classes. Students are encouraged and challenged in these courses and will be given personal counsel in their studies for practical application.
Bible School - 20 week: at Monavale Homestead. The 20 week programme runs from early February to early July and then again from late July until mid December. You can also extend to a 40 week course. Click here for more information.
