Bible School Course Tuition Fees

Before making a payment, please confirm your tuition fee amount due and advise your selected payment method by contacting registrar@capernwray.org.nz  

New Zealand students can choose to pay course tuition fees in person using Eftpos, by cheque, direct credit (internet banking), or credit card. Contact registrar@capernwray.org.nz  for our bank details.

International students can choose the following means of paying course tuition fees…

1/ - Custom House transfer 

If you are outside of New Zealand, the School’s preferred method of payment is though the Custom House payment system. The system allows you to pay your fees in your local currency via a domestic transfer – you simply send your payment to the Capernwray Bible School / Custom House account located in your country. It’s safe, easy to use, and also has the least cost to you with good exchange rates and no additional international transfer fees. Click here to make a payment.  Click here to make a payment.

The international funds transfer helps you to make payment safely and quickly in your local currency or in a variety of major currencies while permitting you to track the payment on the web.

2/ - International Bank Draft

You will need to arrange this through your local bank, and post to us. We can only accept international bank cheques (drafts) in New Zealand dollar currency and made payable to Capernwray Bible School. Your local bank will likely to charge a fee for this service.

3/ - Credit Card payment

Please note that there is a 2% transaction fee associated in using this service. We can only accept Visa or MasterCard. Click here to make a deposit payment.

Student Fee Refund Policy

The refund of fees for a withdrawn student follows the legal requirements as a registered Private Training Establishment under the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

Courses between 5 and 12 weeks duration (ABS course)
Up until the end of the fifth day of the course, a refund less 25% of the total fee cost will be made if a student withdraws and has already paid his/her fees.

Courses of 13 weeks duration or greater (Monavale and The Crossing)
Up until the end of the eighth day of the course, a withdrawn student who has paid their course fees is entitled to a full refund less 10% or $500 of the total fee, whichever is the lesser.

All student fees are deposited in a trust account dedicated for this purpose and supervised by independent trustees. This is to ensure security of student fees and is a legal requirement.

After the standard regulated refund period for the course, the School is under no legal obligation to reimburse students for fees in the event of withdrawal or dismissal from the course, and will not ordinarily do so.

However in exceptional circumstances (eg health, family bereavement) the school will at its discretion reimburse a proportion of the fees. This will be to a maximum of 50% of fees as it is not possible to fill the vacant place at short notice.

Re-imbursement will normally be made between one to three months after the withdrawal depending on application to the trustees and the standard drawdown timings.

To donate towards a student registered at Capernwray NZ

Attending Bible School is a life investment, and many students have friends and family who show their support through financial assistance.

A cost effective way is by making arrangements for the student or donors Church to collect gifts and forward these onto the school. Donors can then receive tax deductable receipts from the Church and the accumulated gifts can be given to the student directly, or sent through to Capernwray NZ in one transaction, reducing the international transaction fees.
