Arrival: June 28, 2026, in Thessaloniki, Greece (Thessaloniki International Airport "Macedonia", Code SKG)
Departure: July 10, 2026, from Athens, Greece (Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", Code ATH)
Optional Extension: July 10 - 13, 2026, for those wanting to explore more of Greece's treasures and Ephesus (by boat)
Flight travel to Greece, return travel arangements home and airport transfers are your own responsibility.
Check-in at the first hotel is from 2pm in the afternoon. Aim to arrive by 6pm to get rooming sorted, have a dip in the pool or a nap before the welcome and introductions around 8pm.
What to Pack
For a 15-day trip to Greece, pack light, breathable clothing like linen and cotton for daytime activities, along with swimwear, a light cover-up and a beach towel.

We are dedicated to your well-being. Please read the following carefully and contact us to discuss any concerns or questions.
Physical Health & Ability
Participants should be able to walk unassisted around biblical and other sites
Participants must be healthy and able to withstand the heat. Whilst hotels and the bus have air-conditioning, biblical sites do not. Temperatures can exceed 35 °C/95F
Regrettably we cannot accommodate physical disability participants in this pilot tour
Dietary Needs
We cannot accommodate vegan diets and some other strict dietary restrictions (such as celiac and other food allergy conditions). As ths is a pilot tour, we cannot be responsible for providing special food for any dietary requirements
Please inform us before registering and note that the participant takes full responsibility for what they eat
Insurance
Travel insurance with medical coverage is mandatory for all participants
We recommend that you have insurance cover in place by the time that you pay your deposit so that the cancellation cover is active for your protection

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation, notice must be received in writing (email preferred)
In all cases, the registration fee is non-refundable
A cancellation received more than two months prior to the commencement of the tour will receive a refund of 50% of the deposit paid
A cancellation received less than two months prior to the commencement of the tour, the deposit will be deemed non-refundable
If full tour costs have been paid and a cancellation is received more than two months prior to the commencement of the tour, a refund of full fees minus deposit will be made
If a cancellation is received less than two months prior to commencement of the tour, a refund will be provided subject to the Capernwray NZ Director’s discretion, based on the ability to fill the vacated place on the tour by another participant and actual costs incurred
Visa / Permit Requirements - Note Important Update
Greece, as a part of the Schengen Area, allows citizens from many countries (including the US, CANADA, UK, and NZ) to enter visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism. A passport valid for at least three months beyond the departure date is required.
You will not need to arrange an entry visa in advance, and the anticipated ETIAS permit system has been delayed.
The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) was going to be in effect in the first quarter of 2026 but now it is scheduled to start operations in the last quarter of 2026.
No applications are being collected yet, and travelers do not need to take any action at this time.
