Dates

Arrival: June 28, 2026, in Thessaloniki, Greece (Thessaloniki International Airport "Macedonia", Code SKG)

Departure: July 10, 2026, from Athens, Greece (Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", Code ATH)

Optional Extension: July 10 - 13, 2026, for those wanting to explore more of Greece's treasures and Ephesus (by boat)

Flight travel to Greece, return travel arangements home and airport transfers are your own responsibility.

Prices are in Euros, but payment can be accepted in multiple currencies (see table below).

If the Euro exchange rate changes more that 2% from 20 November, we reserve the right to adjust the pricing paid in other currencies.

Included

  • The trip includes shared and comfortable accommodation in handpicked hotels

  • Travel on air-conditioned buses within Greece

  • Half-pension of nourishing meals - breakfasts plus one hearty main meal each day (either lunch or dinner)

  • A personal notebook/journal to help you capture your memories reflections, with the itinerary, important biblical information and place to take notes and journal

  • Entrance fees to sites

  • Expert guides

  • Water, especially for the walking and sites

Excluded

  • Flights & transfers (you are responsibile for connecting travel to/from our tour in Greece)

  • Travel insurance (please arrange this as soon as you confirm your booking with a deposit)

  • One of the lunch or dinner meals per day - recommendations shall be offered to you

  • Personal expenses

  • Entrance to non-tour locations and events

Conditions

We are dedicated to your well-being.  Please read the following carefully and contact us to discuss any concerns or questions.

  • Physical Health & Ability

    • Participants should be able to walk unassisted around biblical and other sites

    • Participants must be healthy and able to withstand the heat. Whilst hotels and the bus have air-conditioning, biblical sites do not. Temperatures can exceed 35 °C/95F

    • Regrettably we cannot accommodate physical disability participants in this pilot tour

  • Dietary Needs

    • We cannot accommodate vegan diets and some other strict dietary restrictions (such as celiac and other food allergy conditions). As ths is a pilot tour, we cannot be responsible for providing special food for any dietary requirements

    • Please inform us before registering and note that the participant takes full responsibility for what they eat

  • Insurance

    • Travel insurance with medical coverage is mandatory for all participants

    • We recommend that you have insurance cover in place by the time that you pay your deposit so that the cancellation cover is active for your protection

  • What to Pack

    • Once your application is confirmed, you will receive detailed information about what to bring

Cancellation Policy

  • In the event of cancellation, notice must be received in writing (email preferred)

  • In all cases, the registration fee is non-refundable

  • A cancellation received more than two months prior to the commencement of the tour will receive a refund of 50% of the deposit paid

  • A cancellation received less than two months prior to the commencement of the tour, the deposit will be deemed non-refundable

  • If full tour costs have been paid and a cancellation is received more than two months prior to the commencement of the tour, a refund of full fees minus deposit will be made

  • If a cancellation is received less than two months prior to commencement of the tour, a refund will be provided subject to the Capernwray NZ Director’s discretion, based on the ability to fill the vacated place on the tour by another participant and actual costs incurred

Visa / Permit Requirements

  • You will not need a Visa but an ETIAS permit. If you are not European, you must come to Greece as a tourist. You should not apply for a student Visa. That is very important. The new ETIAS permit will be available to apply for online before your trip to Greece in 2026. It is a permit and not a Visa. The process of application should be easy and will cost 20€.
